The idea is quite simple:
Optimising illumination is done by choosing the right light sources and placing them at the right position.
We use fast and accurate simulation engines that predict the illumination, and couple them with a specially designed, automated optimization process to get optimized configurations of light sources quickly. This process has several advantages over manual placement, especially with tight constraints on the design (space, number of light sources, heat and power dissipation, etc).
